Research Resources

Useful Research Tools Hand-Picked by Mr. Veatch!

Visit the Library of Congress online catalog to gain access to the largest collection of primary sources.  View letters, photographs, manuscripts, and lab manuals in the owner's own handwriting; even listen to radio programs that aired during historic events.  This site is a must for any research paper about a historic event.

Visit Doodlebuzz to search for news articles.  As the name suggests, you have to doodle to get the results...you'll see :).
Use WolframAlpha for math, science, and social studies.  Get help solving most math problems, search for stocks, and compare animals!  This site is one of my favorites!

ipl2 is a reference Website created and maintained by librarians and information specialists.  The information has been checked for authenticity and accuracy.
Find free access to online full-text articles, digital images, and other valuable information at MEL.
The Virtual Library is a great subject directory that can assist you with most papers or projects.
VOS contains a search directory specifically designed to find information on the humanities.
Research Quickstart is a subject directory that contains information archived by information specialists.  The information is accurate and authentic.  This is a great place to start on a research paper/project.
